ABS was founded in 1970 by its chairman and managing director, Bob Culbert, as Aldridge Brake Services, to provide a local service relining brake shoes.

* Relining remains an important aspect of the business.

* The company has grown to become a leading distributor of commercial vehicle and trailer parts.

* Operating from seven main centres.

East Midlands from Burton upon Trent, West Midlands from Aldridge, the South from Rugby, Yorkshire and North East from Huddersfield, Nottinghamshire from Worksop,Wirrall and North West from Ellesmere Port

* Distribution is carried out by our own vehicle fleet controlled locally by each branch. All vehicles are fitted with tracking devices to monitor deliveries.

* The company specialise in supplying Trailerparts- Truckparts - Road Tanker parts and Light Van parts

* The company has also in recent months started exporting to other EC countries.

*We supply only leading brand name products, supplied by the same manufacturers who supply the product to vehicle manufacturers as original equipment.
